Ceremony of Mythical Beasts

A live performance, a costumed dancer, a versatile percussionist, a reluctant soprano, me getting into the act (who else would speak those lines?), the obligatory geezer who wanders into the concert with a loud hankie in search of Brahms, monsters from Chinese mythology become aspects of the integrated self, the magic of names and the power of ritual, golden bells on a Balinese scale, the consternation of friends and family, the  amusement of my enemies...
